Whether you do your shopping on websites such as Wish or prefer to pop into Penneys or Ikea, throw pillows are a great way to add a bit of colour to your bedroom. 2. Add a Mirror

A long mirror can make your room appear bigger and will definitely come in handy when getting dressed up for a night out or checking out that new outfit you just bought. You could go looking in second hand stores for mirrors that are affordable, they usually have a great vintage look about them! You could also design them with pictures or lights and make them feel like your very own mirror.

3. Bring in a Lamp

Lamps can bring a room together perfectly. Whether you are going for a simple style or something vintage like a lava lamp, this can be the perfect way to funk up your room. There are also colourful bulbs you can purchase in local stores like Woodies that can turn any plain lamp into a disco ball for when you are having those wild weekend parties. Shops often do deals on lamps so keep an eye out and you might get a stunning lamp to add some light to your bedroom.

Fairy lights are perfect for any bedroom, you can choose from a variety of different kinds of lights. Be it colourful, black and white or even ones that are designed as an animal or object. These are definitely affordable, almost every store sells them, and Lidl or Aldi always have deals on them. They usually cost around €10 so they are definitely worth a buy at their price point.

5. Put up Posters

Let’s face it, everyone has a favourite show, band or movie they could gaze at for hours while chilling out in their bedroom. Even if the poster has nothing to do with an interest of yours, there is a variety of them available online and in stores to be purchased. Posters can be very cheap depending on where you look. Stores such as GameStop have posters available from as little as €5! Alternatives to posters can include pictures and paintings that you can buy in retro galleries in places like Stephens’s Green shopping centre or George’s Street Arcade in Dublin. It would also be handy to check out art festivals that pop up as you could bag a bargain.
