The Championship play-off final is often referred to as the richest game in football, and for good reason! The winning team will not only earn promotion to the Premier League, but they’ll also receive a guaranteed £170 million piece of the TV broadcast rights pie. The 2017 EFL Championship Play-Offs Preview

The 2016–2017 season of the EFL Championship will conclude on May 29th. Newcastle United were awarded the Championship last Sunday, denying Brighton their first ever title. Now, beginning this Saturday it’s time for the EFL Championship League play–offs between the teams who finished in 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th in the EFL table. Those teams are Reading, Sheffield Wednesday, Huddersfield Town and Fulham, respectively. The play–offs first leg begins with Fulham hosting Reading on Saturday, May 13th at 5:30pm. On Sunday May 14th at 12pm, Huddersfield hosts Sheffield. The second legs start on Tuesday May 16th at 7:45pm with Reading playing Fulham at the Madejski Stadium, followed by Sheffield Wednesday […]
