Let’s take a look at the three most important things when you’re considering purchasing […]

The 2016 Web Summit has finished and the dust is just about settling on what is largely considered to be the years biggest annual tech conference around the world. The event, now in its seventh year has been referred to as the “Glastonbury for geeks”, boasted a powerful lineup of sports stars and celebrities from Ronaldinho to Joseph Gordon-Levitt. As you can imagine, an event of this magnitude has developed quite the fan base with over 53,000 attendees represented by 15,000 companies, all of this proving that the Summit has come a long way from its humble beginnings of 400 attendees in Dublin back in 2010. Roku is a TV streaming service that is similar to devices such as Apple TV or Sky On Demand. It collects all your favourite streaming sites (Netflix, YouTube, Putlocker etc.) and catch-up sites (BBC/RTE player, 4od etc.) into one box. Dam useful! Unlike TV service providers such as Sky or Virgin Media, Roku is a one off payment for just the box and control. social media

There was a time when social media was just a simple Bebo, YouTube or MySpace account and you were only on one of them because it would cost way too much with the dial-up connection to go checking three different sites at once. If you’re a high flying blogger or photographer who gets paid by the post then well done to you, it’s the dream. Minimal work, probably free travel and all kinds of freebies you’re getting to advertise to your […]

what is a chromecast

So what exactly is a Google Chromecast? The Benefits Of The Podcast

They’ve been discredited for being a waste of time on a number of occasions by people who just don’t recognise their purpose but podcasts are quite useful for people in the broadcasting or publishing worlds. Radio DJs, TV presenters and Journalists all spend their time searching and trying to find as much content as they can to fill their show or paper.
