There is nothing that saddens me more than finishing a TV show, the pain is palpable! But then there is nothing better than starting a brand new TV show. We’re going to give you a taste of some of the most exciting shows that are being released over the new few weeks. From multiple genres and choices you will have the ultimate list. Now you can stop thinking about that one show that ended and start thinking about what your going to watch next.

1. Peaky Blinders (Season 4)

This is for all the crime lovers out there. A popular TV drama is coming back to the BBC and Netflix very soon. This show is set in Birmingham and is about a family of gangsters at the end of World War 1. It will have you gripping your seat as you whirl your way into the crazy life of lead man, Tommy Shelby played by Cillian Murphy, and his wild family. It hits BBC Two on November 15th at 9pm. So don’t forget to tune in and if you’re new to the show, check out the first three chaotic seasons, you won’t be disappointed!

2. Godless (New Drama)

Described as an “epic western story” this TV show is for anybody who is a fan of the old style westerns, Indians vs Cowboys. However, Godless offers a real twist in this show. It tells the story of a young outlaw called Roy Goode. Roy seeks help in an outcast widower which causes some great adventures to form in this modern America where cowboys and outlaws run the town. Some familiar faces may appear as we see Jack O’Connell cast as Roy, you’ll may remember him from shows such as “Skins” and “This Is England”. Thomas Brodie-Sangster from “Games of Thrones” and Merritt Wever from “The Walking Dead” also star. So you have lots of friendly faces to look forward to. Join in on the 22nd of November on Netflix for all the wild western drama!

3. Vikings (Season 5)

This is for all the boys and the girls who love a bit of rough play. Returning to History on Wednesday November 29th for a two hour premier, the new trailer warns of an epic war between brothers and no less than the end of the world. This action filled show will have you stuck to your seat, marveling at all the story lines and cutting edge fight scenes. So grab some popcorn and prepare for some battles like you’ve never seen before.

4. Easy (Season 2)

This one is for all those frisky folk who can’t get enough gossip or stop reminiscing on their crazy college days. This comedy drama is set in Chicago and follows a group of friends who fumble through a maze of love, sex, technology and culture. Expect to see a whole host of stars like Kate Micucci, Jane Adams, Michael Chernus and Dave Franco to name but a few. The second season premiers on December 1st so now you have something to watch while cuddling up on the couch in front of the fire.

5. The Librarians (Season 4)

This series has been very interesting from the beginning, you need to make sure to tune in if you are a fan of fantasy. The latest season of The Librarians introduces new members of an ancient group protecting mystical artefacts. Each character unique in their own way. Jacob who has knowledge of art, architecture and history. Cassandra links auditory and sensory hallucinations to memory. Ezekiel is a skilled thief and master technician. The shows fourth season premiers on the TNT channel on December 13th, so you have plenty of time to catch up with the quirky characters and magical adventures.

6. Call the Midwife (Season 7)


This 1960’s set show has captured the hearts of many with a mixture of romance and drama. You cannot bear to look away from the screen between episodes. Call the Midwife won the National Television Award for best period drama this year. With season 6 ending in true cliff-hanger fashion, people are looking forward to this new season and so should you. There is also a mysterious new character set to join the latest installment. Season 7 is set to air early on BBC One in the New Year so keep an eye out, in the meantime sit back watch the 6 drama filled seasons just in time for the new one. Babies, nurses, nuns and lots of theatrics can guarantee an emotional ride as you watch the show.
