If you have decided that this is the year where you would like to take a path towards something, some of these events may help you get off to a good start or perhaps help you figure out some bumps in the road. Mindful Meditation and Wellness for Young People

ChildVision the National Education centre for blind children in Dublin is hosting this workshop which will help younger minds reach into a place of self-nourishment and allow their mindset to drift towards Positive Health and Wellbeing. Welcome to anyone between the ages of 10-23. The session will be taken on by Nikki Fitzpatrick who is the creator of the myzenpod. Developing new skills such as meditation and resilience can be a great way for young people to manage stress during such a busy time in their lives. This can lead to better awareness and self- care in the future. Taking place on Wed 24th April at 12:30 GMT.

The workshop is taking place in ChildVision Grace Park Road D09WKOH Drumcondra.

Free Mini Nutritional Consultations with Nutritional Therapist Maria Plaias

These free nutritional consultations could really help you out if you are looking at becoming healthier or just getting to know what exactly goes into your body. The floor is open to chat about any concerns you might have. This is taking place on Sat, 2nd March. The consultation will be at Lloyds pharmacy at BlackRock Shopping Centre. Spring Yoga Workshop

Winter can leave us feeling sluggish or out of our usual cycles and it’s no lie that we find ourselves doing more when the sun comes out. So, in an effort to welcome Spring there is a Yoga Workshop happening in Dublin 4 on the 13th of April at 11am and continuing until 4pm. This workshop is hosted by Yoga Ireland and takes place at Oscailt Integrative Health Centre. Finding your balance in Yoga can help lead you back to the path of a steady lifestyle and welcome you to a productive spring. In this workshop you can wipe the slate clean and say hello to an energetic season up ahead while also relaxing through Yoga. Tickets can be purchased for €37.32. Relaxation and Wellbeing Group In Bray

This event is free for any over 18 to enter and talk about things that might be causing them some stress or discomfort in life at the moment. Hosted by Pranic Healing in Ireland. You can relax while learning techniques about how to deal with stress effectively, increase your happiness, enhance focus and achieve calmness while just helping you focus on the general wellbeing in your life. There will also be some meditation at the class. Twin Hearts the meditation technique will be taught which can help bring some benefits to any problems you might have. Cuddle Party – July Irish Cuddle Salon

Who doesn’t want to cuddle somebody? Cuddling can be peaceful and give you a feeling of connection. If you would like to gain more information on how to ask for non-sexual touch in a fun and safe environment this event might just be the thing that you are looking for. Touch can really comfort us at some of our darkest times. Beginners are welcome, and this workshop takes place at various times during the year if you would like to look into it at another time. Run by Randy Ralston at Common Ground, Beverly Studios, Church Terrace, Bray (South Dublin). This particular workshop takes place on Sunday July 21st from 1:30 pm until 5:00pm. Sanctuary Escape

If you are looking to take a breather from everyday life and just want to relax while also meeting new people, this might be the perfect event for you. Taking place at Hotwell House on Saturday the 23rd of March and hosted by Sanctuary Escape Retreats this place will take you away for a day to forget your troubles and really allow you to focus on wellbeing. Taking place from 10:30 am until 2:30pm. Cliona and Gigi plan to host a laid back and healthy retreat. The day will include Pilates, vegetarian food, country canal walks and much much more. Vegan Cooking and Baking retreat

Hosted by Wild Sage Bakery this weekend of learning is a great way to learn about veganism or if you are considering switching your diet. Taking place in Avondale Retreat Centre in Rathdrum Co. Wicklow on the 8th March and running its course through the entire weekend. Together everybody will prepare vegan meals and bake together while also taking part in the learning process, beginners and regular cooks are all welcome to be part of this retreat. What’s included as part of the workshop is two nights’ accommodation , three cooking and baking workshops, all meals included, a natural skincare workshop where you will be making your own hand cream etc and a recipe book will be provided at the end of the retreat of all the recipes made together.  In your spare time you can roam the beautiful nature of the surrounding area and avail of the massage/ sauna facilities.
