What To Do On A First Date
July 23, 2016 (No Comments) by theSharpeUser

The first date has to be one of the most daunting tasks us as humans have to endure. No matter how many first dates you’ve been on you still feel the same as you did the first time. And it’s no surprise we get nervous each time as it’s a make or break deal with the other half you spend it with. This date could either be the first and last, or the first of many depending on what you do with it. So treat your first date like it’s your last and make the most of it. Let’s take a look at what you can do to turn that first date into a second date and the rest.

First of all, don’t go in smelling like you’ve been working in McDonalds kitchen all day, shower. Hygiene is key. If you don’t already follow that, I’m guessing this is your first first date. Shower, shave and spray, that’s just the beginning. Unless her favourite person is Tarzan, be clean! Dress well, no tracksuit bottoms or your “wifebeater” sleeveless top, jeans and a nice top, simples. Women love a well groomed man and men love a nicely dressed woman, it’s not rocket science.

Next up, and probably the harder part, choosing what to do. This is a very tricky task as whether you go that second date or not relies on what you do on the first date. So many people will pick the wrong place to go and ultimately ruin their chances. First off ,you need to be able to interact and talk, but also whist doing an activity. So no cinema( teenagers)! Activities such as pool, mini golf, bowling etc, anything in a Leisure centre works as you’re enjoying yourself and can also get to know the person at the same time. Works 60% of the time, every time. And guys, always offer to pay for whatever you’re doing, women love it and no it’s not feminism, it shows you’re not a stinge and that’s a plus.

Now, communication wise, it’s your first date so you want to get to know your date. Ask questions, yes it’s really that easy, simple but effective. Flattery is also a small necessity that will make your date feel good from the get go. Complement each other,” you look nice”, “you smell good” etc. Let the girl talk also, girls love to ramble on about themselves and as long as you keep asking questions and listening(this is key!) you’re halfway towards your second date without even trying my friend. Body language is also key which may come as a surprise but it’s important. Sitting positions, eye contact, stance, all of these come into play and they can tell a lot about the person, you may not even know you’re doing half of them. Make plenty of eye contact without staring into their soul. Stand/sit facing your date when speaking to them, it shows you’re interested. And most of all just have fun.

Now that you’ve read this and have messaged all of your matches on tinder, get ready for your first date and follow all of the above rules, enjoy and happy hunting.
