7 Acts You Need to Hear at the 2018 Dublin Podcast Festival

Now in it’s second year, the 2018 Dublin Podcast Festival kicks off in just a few weeks time and there is an unbelievable lineup set to deliver heaps of interesting discussions. It, all starts on the 26th of September and goes out with a blast on the 14th of October. Put simply, this festival will make fans of podcasts very happy.

As you can imagine, there is a very wide and eclectic variety of podcast  choices available throughout the festival. If you’re unsure which act you’d like to see than look no more. We’re counting down seven acts you just have to see at the 2018 Dublin Podcast Festival.

7. Juvenalia

Are you the nostalgic type? Let’s face it, in a world of high paced living with technology just around the corner, we kind of all are. Who wouldn’t want to listen to stories that recall these precious times of the 90’s kids era or even the early 2000’s.

This is what Juvenalia does. It goes really deep into subjects such as cartoon shows, pro wrestling and even toys. These are the things you keep closely to your heart from childhood. 6. Sexy Beasts and Phoning It In

These two podcasts are joining up together to come at you with a double bill of entertainment. Sexy Beasts featuring Tony Cantwell and Marc Jago will deliver unforgettable amounts of comedy. They’ll bring you on a journey exploring the merits of various creatures of all types among this strange world. This comedy duo, you guessed it, talk about conspiracy theories. This award-winning podcast and live show hosted by Deborah Frances-White is coming to Dublin this 1st of October at Vicar Street.  This podcast takes on a supportive feel as it discusses the big topics of the 21st century regarding feminism. While at the same time, the show takes on the unique perspective of the ‘buts’ and ‘if’s’ regarding feminism.
