Regardless of your accommodation needs, we’re sure you’ll admit that searching for the right room, in the right location and for the right price can be a time consuming process. To quote a modern pop culture icon – “Ain’t nobody got time for that!”.

So, we at The Sharpe, have compiled a list of the 5 must-have apps for real-life explorers. Who knows, in addition to saving you time, you could pick up a bargain or two.

Booking.com

Booking.com has become the largest hotel site out there, and if you’re booking a room, having their app is a no brainer. You can book your hotel room, apartment or B&B in just a couple of minutes and the fact they offer free cancellation with every room means that you can cancel if you find a room cheaper elsewhere, even if that room ends up being on their own website.

Another cool feature is booking.com’s deal of the day, which appears first upon opening the app, and shows you the best accommodation for the location you’ve searched.

You can download the booking.com app on iOS by clicking here or on Android by clicking here.

Hopper

Hopper is a mobile app that not only allows you to book flights, but it also predicts when the prices for your chosen destination will be cheapest; Hopper will even send you a notification when the price has dropped. According to Hopper, you’re guaranteed to save €50 per flight (on average) by using their price prediction feature.

You can also choose multiple different options at a time and wait for the prices to drop on all of them; you can then proceed and purchase your flights directly through the app. Nice one, bunny!
